Refined is a studio devoted exclusively to adult dance education. Located in Southern Wake County, we offer a thoughtful and elevated approach to training where technical precision and artistic expression come together. Our classes are designed specifically for adult dancers at every stage—from those stepping into the studio for the very first time to experienced dancers continuing their practice. At Refined, we cultivate a welcoming and supportive environment where adults can build technique, explore artistry, and rediscover the joy of movement.

Summer 2026
Foundations of ballet
Level: New or returning dancers
Location: Fuquay Varina Arts Center
Days and Time: Wednesdays, 8:15 PM - 9:00 PM
This class is specifically designed for the dancer who is new to dance or dancers who have had multiple years away from dance training. In Foundations of Ballet, dancers will learn the basics of dance class etiquette, barre and center exercises. This class is designed as a precursor for a beginning level ballet class. Dancers do not have to complete a foundations course to take beginning ballet.
Foundations of Ballet will reset in curriculum every season and is a non performing class.
